Joyner was born in Tuskegee, Alabama, the son of Frances and Hercules L. Joyner. Tom came from an educated family: his grandfather Oscar was one of only 3,000 black physicians in the United States, earning a degree in medicine in 1909.^[2] Both of his parents were graduates of historically black colleges, and both Tom and his brother Albert attended Tuskegee Institute, now known as Tuskegee University. Tom Joyner graduated with a degree in sociology in 1978
Joyner has also founded The Tom Joyner Foundation to provide financial assistance to students at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Since 1998, it has raised more than $60 million to help keep students enrolled at HBCUs. The Tom Joyner Foundation also hosts an annual cruise named the Fantastic Voyage which also raises money for HBCU's.<sup>[23]

Tom Joyner is on my top ten list for being a mover and shaker. Tom Joyner knows how to make things happen for students that attend HBCU schools. This considered a super size random act of kindness. As a random act of kindness encourage someone to further their education.  Like Lou Rawles would say, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste".  Be a Blessing give a Blessing.</sup>
 

Knowledge

Knowledge is a powerful weapon. To become open and receptive to information especially from God
will surely take your life to another level.  You can receive this kind of information from a friend relative or even the Bible.

Many people to day think hearing words of wisdom is old school.
That old school wisdom is priceless. Bill Cosby over the years has provided our society with great words of wisdom. Like Proverbs 1:7 states but FOOLS despise wisdom and instruction.

n the "Pound Cake" speech, Cosby, who holds a doctorate in education, asked that African-American parents teach their children better morals at a younger age. Cosby told the Washington Times, "Parenting needs to come to the forefront. If you need help and you don't know how to parent, we want to be able to reach out and touch" (DeBose, Brian).^{[page needed]} Richard Leiby of The Washington Post reported, "Bill Cosby was anything but politically correct in his remarks Monday night at a Constitution Hall bash commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Brown v. Board of Education decision."<sup>[23]

Cosby did not receive much love from the younger Black community for his comment but what he said is true. Parenting is the most important job we have. Seems like God purpose for Bill Cosby is to remind us of that. So if you think Cosby thoughts are old school. Guess again it originated with God.  As a random act of kindness let someone know knowledge is priceless. Be Blessing and give a Blessing!</sup>

Faith Walk

As we continue celebrating our Men around the world during the month of June. We will begin this week with a man that always deliver powerful words.
Sometimes it is a challenge to take a persons word and believe it is so. That is why God sent his only son to deliver this message.

I just love Dick Gregory he has always had a purpose filled life. He uses  his gift of communication to deliver powerful speeches about social injustice around the world.

As a father of 10 Dick Gregory has manage to teach his children that education can make a difference in their personal life. All 10 of his kids have a Phd
 . Along with God and his only wife of 55 years Lillian Smith Gregory have done an outstanding job.

In the Bible to glean means to share. The wealthy farmers would leave barley on the side of the road for the poor.

Today we have people like Warren Buffet (2009 was the richest man in the world) has vowed to leave 99% of his wealth to charities.

His grand daughter stated her grandfather has provided his children and grandchildren with all they needed to survive. Education an knowledge. That is a great legacy to leave with your family, the gift of giving and serving.  As a random act of kindness give a gift of information to someone that needs direction.  Be a Blessing give a Blessing.
