Light of the World

Psalm 55:12-13New International Version (NIV)
12 If an enemy were insulting me,
    I could endure it;
if a foe were rising against me,
    I could hide.
13 But it is you, a man like myself,
    my companion, my close friend,

Selma March 1965
We read Psalm  55 when we viewed the 50th anniversary Selma March. Well it also applies to world issues because Jesus Christ is the light of the world.
From Selma, Ferguson Mo. to South Africa the lesson to learn is the Lord is the light.

Psalm 27

Of David.

The Lord is my light and my salvation
    whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked advance against me
    to devour[a] me,
it is my enemies and my foes
    who will stumble and fall.
Though an army besiege me,
    my heart will not fear

Boko Haram pledges to assist ISIS. KKK superiority, Black on Black crime , Dysfunctional Family's the list is endless.  The point is all the hate being displayed is anti Christ.  God sent his only begotten son Jesus Christ to deliver his message of  Love and Peace to the World. As Psalms 23 states the Lord is the light not man.
