12 If an enemy were insulting me,
I could endure it;
if a foe were rising against me,
I could hide.
13 But it is you, a man like myself,
my companion, my close friend,
I could endure it;
if a foe were rising against me,
I could hide.
13 But it is you, a man like myself,
my companion, my close friend,
By now you can tell Psalm 55:12-13 is one of my all time favorite verses. It fitting for all of the social issues we are experiencing today.
The president of the University of Oklahoma announced he's severing ties with the local chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon after several members of the fraternity were caught on camera singing a racist song.
First we must commend the students at the University of Oklahoma for getting the job done in a Peaceful way. Everyone on that bus that chanted those racial slurs should realize we are not having it. God's not having it. Nobody's greater! Outside of that fraternity house they were attacking all students Black and White along with the revenue from sports sponsors that support The University of Oklahoma. What made those college students join a Fraternity that support racism? Let's take it home. Their parents might not have told them to join but no one said that sort of behavior is was not right.
