Children and Parents

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. ² “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: ³ “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”^[a]

⁴ And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord

Some parents think that if I feed and cloth my child I'm done. That is far from the truth. I love using today's headlines to show how important it is to use God in every day
living. That does not mean all Preacher kids are Angels. 


  The fun part of  becoming a parent is the romance and sex. After the birth of this precious bundle of joy that is when the party begins.  You have work to do.  How we act and live our lives has a huge impact on our children. Ask yourself do you deserve to be honored by anyone. If we accept God into our lives he can help all of us in the development of our children. It's one thing to take your child to church . It's a whole new ball game when you practice what you preach and teach. As a parent we have so many do not's  like, don't drink and drive, don't tex and drive, don't lie ,steal, cheat and kill.

To incorporate God into your family start with the 10 commandments that is a great conversation piece. It gives all of us something to think about.  As a random act of kindness if you know someone old or young give them a copy of the 10 commandments. Be a Blessing

Good

Today is good day for you! It's all good it's all God! Today is not the day to be nickle dime slick.  Some people think that life is purely luck and not the goodness of God. If you open up your eyes this morning say thank you Jesus.

Good Friday

THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

This is the day Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace was crucified. Yes Jesus did what he set out to do. He delivered the message sent by God.

Matthew 27:35-38

³⁵ Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots,^[a] that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:

“They divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast lots.”^[b]

³⁶ Sitting down, they kept watch over Him there.
³⁷ And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:

³⁸ Then two robbers were crucified with Him, one on the right and another on the left. 


At the end of the day can you forgive like God has forgiven you. As a random act of kindness remind someone God has forgiven us for all of our sins.  Be a Blessing give a Blessing Grace, Forgiveness.

Jesus gave us a powerful message. As you perform a random act of kindness. Make sure you are not  deceiving yourself.  Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy

Betray

This is an important moment during the Lent season.

And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!”
⁵ Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.

In a lifetime we have witness the act of Betrayal  either as the Betrayer or Betrayee.  It is not a good feeling especially if you are on the receiving end.

Several days before Jesus was crucified he travel to Jerusalem to do good.  What started as a good week turned into hell week for Jesus Christ.

Next time you decide to have a pity party remember Jesus paid for all our sins. 

As a random act of kindness let someone know Jesus Christ has paid all of our sin dept.  That is why God has given us forgiveness aka Grace.  Be a Blessing and forgive.

Faith

Days before Jesus death he gathered his disciples and many followers to repeat the importance of having faith in God and not in the world.

God wanted everyone to realize at that moment and even today he can make a way when it seems like their is no way.

Over the last 30 years American's have witness corporate America cut salaries,downsize and outsource. I experience a 40% cut in pay and a daughter in college.  For me I put my faith in God not man. God does not want you to fail.

 Today if you know someone that is experiencing a personal setback as a random act of kindness be encouraging . Be a Blessing and let them know God is their source and supply.

In Charge

God has a path that women as a mother and wife should be on. For some women like me it's hard to summit when we are always the head of household even when married.

I love her message I just need to find a real good man with Christ like common sense.

On Jan. 12, 1915, the United States House of Representatives rejected a proposal to give women the right to vote.

On Aug. 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing American women the right to vote, was declared in effect.
If it took 5 years for women to get the right to vote and today we are discussing the right to bare arms and stand your ground laws.
We need to pay attention to who we let represent us.

March is dedicated to celebrate the greatness and contributions of Women. Like Black History we can talk about women every day.  Let's  begin with Mary the mother of Jesus Christ

Mary knew she was Blessed and had a very important job to perform at the request of God.
Today women all around the world have a very important role as Mother.  We must educate our children socially and in the spirit of God.  As women we usually operate on information overload because it is our nature to nurture, Love and think about everyone in the home.

Living

Are you living or existing? Have you discovered your purpose in life like Jesus Christ and Martin Luther King. Are you being led in life  like a puppet on a string.  Don't get me wrong after God we all have someone or something to answer too like career, family or addictions.

Dick Gregory stated " The secret of being happy is doing things for other people".  You said a mouthful there Mr. Gregory. Dick Gregory dedicated most of his life exposing social injustices taking place in America.  That is a great gift of giving, thank you! Like Jesus Christ he knew he had work to do.

Trump has also said he would deport millions of illegal migrants if he wins the November U.S. election. Last week he told Fox Business television that Pope Francis did not understand the Mexican border issues.

 Did Donald Trump forget all of his wives were not made in America.

One likeness

After finally watching 12 years a Slave. I realize our society still have people with that slave mentality. Either as the master or slave.  Jesus Christ purpose was to bring all into one likeness. That is God's desire.

Teaching

During this Lent season we will cover some of Jesus Christ missions he was sent to do by God. Jesus made 12 disciples and taught them God's law .
