Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence. Throughout the month of October, help NNEDV to raise awareness about domestic violence and join in our efforts to end violence.  Here is what you can do:

Matthew 10:34-36New International Version (NIV)

34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to turn
“‘a man against his father,
    a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law
36     a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’[a]

As a random act of kindness pass the message about Domestic Violence prevention. Be a Blessing display a Blessing of Peace.
