Success in Black Hisory

Joshua 1:8King James Version (KJV)

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success

Many messages we receive from God are thru the spoken word in the pulpit or in the street  with words of encouragement from the greatest like Malcolm X,  Martin Luther King and Dick Gregory. Just to name a few .  At the age of 5 I received the message very well along with millions of Americans .
At my house my parents felt like we were going get something out of this Civil Rights Movement "what they also call the resistance: If  you are a Baby Boomer born in the 50's like me. If you are over 50 and watched your parents benefit or take part in the civil rights movement.,life was a huge learning experience.
History has a strange way of repeating it self.  Is it because we have not pass the message well on to the next generations? Is it to late? No! We can deliver the message of equality and Love at any point in our life to the next generation.  It is never to late to communicate.  It is always considered a successful effort .

Our ancestors took the battle to the streets over 100 of years ago. In the 60's as a Disciple of Jesus Martin Luther King took it to another level.  My generation drop the ball.  But  don't  feel bad because Martin Luther King's kids aren't putting up a fight for equality. They only fight each other over money. Don't be fooled by people like Clarence Thomas as a Supreme Court Justice or Black Republicans I must say we drop the ball but It's not to late.  We can pick up and keep moving.

As a random act of kindness let someone know  the battle is not yours it's God's.  Be a Blessing and display a successful attitude.
