The entire month of May we will focus on mothers.  Why?  We are the backbone of society.  Not only do we bear children we care.discipline.feed. educated, guidance, nurture, Spiritual direction, teaching and wisdom. Just to name a few hats we wear.


Amidst the chaos, one mother was determined to let her rioting son know that she disapproved of his actions. Onlookers and news cameras captured the moment which has been widely discussed on social media.

She reminds me of a traditional old school Mom like myself and my mother.  She's not having it!

Purpose

God place Jesus Christ  here on earth for a purpose.  Jesus Christ new he had work to do. Jesus had a very important message to deliver from God. He helped  with the process Jesus Christ met with his disciples.
Matthew:10-1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.

Jesus is the Light

Over the next few days we will cover messages, messengers and purpose in our own life. This is the information we should pass on to our kids. Yes our kids. We have to many old and young people walking around with no purpose. Some people think all they need to do is eat, sleep and work .Let us not forget the career criminal, drug addict or gangster that never learned God's purpose for their  life.
Recently 3 members of FAMU marching band were found guilty of manslaughter. The FAMU Administration and band members lost sight of their purpose.  EDUCATION!

  Sometimes when we make a request to God don't expect to receive the answer in an email or by direct letter in the US mail.God sometimes speaks to us in dreams and visions. Not all dreams are of God but their is always a message in our dreams and visions.

Compassion

Compassion:  a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.


When we give our time and money to someone in need that is a great way to show compassion.

Does it really matter?

How we learn to treat each other begins at home.  As we enter school and continue on through adult life .  How we deal with each other really matters.
