Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son

After 14 generations God had in mind the perfect plan to deliver his message. He pick a virgin
maiden to bore his child.  Man could not mess this one up.  Today like in the old testament Men and Women alike  tend to mess things up. Can you imagine the thoughts Joseph had before the Angel appeared. He paused before he said I do to Mary but in the end what wonderful bundle of Joy!

In the Beginning

December is a great month to get into the old testament. In Genesis we are able to learn about God's creations and gain a better understanding about the birth of Jesus Christ.

God has already given us the directions for good living.  Sometimes we tend to think we have a better way like Samson. God told him not to cut his hair.  Enemies know how to attack at our lowest points. In New York it began with a choke hold . Two wrongs don't make a right.

   Don't let a third party cloud or influence your thinking.  The best defense is a good offense of the
Holy Spirit.  As a random act of kindness let someone know the right way. Knowing can change the direction of someone's life.

Today I decided to switch gears a little bit.  Since we are in the Xmas season let's take time to give time or money to meet the needs of the mentally Ill.  Sometimes Businesses and families  underestimate the needs of the mentally Ill. I am a member of NAMI, National Association of Mental Illness I can identify the need quickly in a family or business. Our society is quick to label someone ill but not prepared to act.
 
Recently I found myself in a situation  and witness someone that is mentally unstable. I spoke about it and realize the need to address the issue. NAMI is able to assist any business or family with concerns about the mentally disable.

Recently my nephew ask me can I forgive. My answer was yes.  Sometimes I might shake my head because of the hurt or pain but I realize in order to move on I must forgive. God is a forgiving God. If he can forgive me I  also can forgive .   Sometimes when we speak the words of an unkind act and  hear it we can both  realize those actions are not acceptable.

Today if you know anyone that has angered you stop and forgive. This will allow you to receive your next Blessing. Don't block your next Blessing!

In 1620 Pilgrims founded Plymouth Mass. The actual meaning of Pilgrim is a person who journeys, especially a long distance, to some sacred place as an act of religious devotion: pilgrims to the Holy Land.

God sent his son Jesus on the first Pilgrimage to deliver a very powerful message on how to live.

We should thank the Lord for that kind act.

As we sit at the dinner table today it is the perfect time to do a prayer of protection for our love ones.
